Trinity Lutheran Seminary -- Columbus, Ohio

Bexley Hall’s presence in Ohio was re-established again in 1998, in association with Trinity Lutheran Seminary, respected for its distinguished faculty and vigorous programs. Students receive the M.Div. degree from Bexley Hall, but draw upon the resources of TLS especially for Bible, Systematic Theology, and Ethics. Lutheran professors in these areas are outstanding, and the course work is in-depth, giving an unusual strength to the Anglican degree. The Anglican professors teach more naturally "Anglican specific courses", e.g. Early Church History, English and Anglican Communion Church History, Episcopal Church History, and a three-semester sequence of Liturgics.

The Episcopal Church and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America are in full communion and share worship, clergy, and mission. The liturgies for worship are distinct (not hybrid blends), but both denominations attend each others’ worship. Because of our partnership with Trinity Lutheran, the creative possibilities—especially for Anglicans who anticipate working in historically Lutheran geographic areas, or who want a very solid academic AND formational basis—are many.

Seabury-Western Seminary

In early 2011, Bexley Hall and Seabury-Western Theological Seminary in Evanston, IL, began a joint operating agreement to form an innovative, flexible theological center for the Episcopal Church in the Midwest. Through this agreement, Bexley and Seabury are moving toward sharing personnel in financial services, fundraising, communications and other operations. The cornerstone of this arrangement is The Partnership for Lifelong Learning, a joint venture between the two seminaries, that presents compelling programing in Columbus, Chicago, Indianapolis and other key Midwestern cities.

The Pontifical College Josephinum -- Columbus, Ohio

This Roman Catholic seminary is part of the Columbus Theological Consortium. Bexley students may take elective course here free of charge, and have received a warm welcome. They have been enriched by the Josephinum’s offerings in the Johannine literature (central to the more Catholic stream of Anglican identity) and the Passion Narratives, to give two cases in point.

Methesco (The Methodist Theological School in Ohio) -- Delaware, Ohio

This United Methodist seminary is also a part of the Columbus Consortium where Bexley students may take elective courses. Methesco offers courses in liberation theology in its various strands, complementing those offered by Trinity Lutheran Seminary and Bexley Hall.
