An Invitation

Invitation

In Partnership with Trinity Lutheran Seminary

Admissions for Bexley Hall are handled through the Office of Admissions at Trinity Lutheran Seminary.

Whether you are considering seminary for the first time with great excitement, or returning later in life because God's call has continued to resonate in your mind and heart, we would like to extend an invitation for you to consider Bexley Hall.

We think Bexley is a unique place, where the ancient and the postmodern are embraced; a close-knit community with broad connections to the world; and a place where we hope God will speak to you.

A seminary in the liberal Anglo-Catholic tradition of Anglicanism, we understand our mission as preparing students as fully and completely as possible for Christian ministry in a pluralistic world.

Bexley students receive training in spiritual disciplines, liturgy and communal and private prayer. We place special emphasis on the ways in which church doctrine impels us to social action. Our curriculum, coupled with Trinity Lutheran Seminary’s programs in theology and Biblical studies makes for a demanding, yet rewarding mix.

But attending a seminary isn't solely about acquiring knowledge or skills. It is an intentional formation of students’ inner life through worship, spiritual direction, Scripture study, private prayer, involvement in local parishes and participation in the activities of our close knit community of students, faculty and staff.
